Fundraising from the events goes directly to YCI’s global mission of accelerating youth innovation for good. This includes our HerStart Catalyst Fund, which provides critical funding for women-led social enterprises. The fund builds pathways for women to create sustainable businesses and a lasting economic ripple effect in their families and communities.

YCI’s Summit for Impact: Peru 🇵🇪

April 2026: 7 Day Experience, 5 Day Trek

Hike with purpose as you complete the Salkantay Trek to the mesmerizing Machu Picchu with YCI. This 5 day trek will take us through stunning lakes, mountains, cloud forests and jungle. In the middle of the mountains, we will stay in unique, eco-friendly accommodations (like sky camp igloos and jungle domes) while enjoying delicious Peruvian food. Experienced guides will teach us about the history and nature of the region as we go. One night before and after the trek will be organized for the group in a hotel in the very cool city of Cusco.

Fun facts: Machu Picchu is one of the 7 wonders of the world and National Geographic ranks the Salkantay Trek as one of the top hike on Earth.

YCI’s Summit for Impact: Kilimanjaro 🇹🇿

March 2026: 8 Day Experience, 6 Day Climb

If you’ve daydreamed of travelling to Tanzania and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, here’s your chance to do it with an incredible team, while supporting women-led enterprises around the world! In March, we will spend 6 days hiking the breathtaking Machame route through 5 unique ecological climate zones until we reach the unbelievable summit. Expert local guides will lead the way, setting up camp each night, fuelling this adventure with good food and good company. One night before and after the climb will be organized for the group in a hotel in Moshi.

Fun facts: Mt. Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world and the fastest ascent took just under 5 hours!
