Stephen Brown - Chair and President
Stephen is a management consultant and partner with Deloitte Consulting, where he specializes in supply chain and logistics strategy for Fortune 500 companies.

Mark Towhey - Vice-Chair
Mark is an international consultant specializing in strategic influence and crisis management. He is President of Towhey Consulting Group Inc.

Kevin Thomason - Secretary
Kevin has a diverse background in marketing, technology, and the environment. He has recently co-founded AideRSS, a successful Web 2.0 company helping people manage information overload. He has been involved with YCI in a variety of capacities since going to Guyana as a participant in 1991.

Paritosh Gambhir - Treasurer
Paritosh is currently a Senior Manager at KPMG in Toronto Canada. Paritosh started his career with KPMG in Zambia.

Nikhil Bhambri
Nikhil started his career at KPMG LLP where he was involved in the audit of various financial institutions. He joined TD Bank in 2004, where he has held progressively senior roles in the Wholesale and Wealth segments. He currently heads the Capital Management Group of the Wholesale Bank (TD Securities), whose primary objective is to provide key reporting on the amount of capital required to be held against all exposures. Nikhil holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Maryland, the CA and CPA designations and is also a CFA charterholder. He is also an active member of TRIEC, a mentorship program for new immigrants to Canada.

Steve Cornish
Steve has spent over a decade working with humanitarian organizations including Médecins Sans Frontières, the Canadian Red Cross and CARE Canada - where he is currently serving as Policy and Advocacy Advisor. He was a group leader for YCI in Costa Rica in 1994-95.

Steve Gilbert
Steve is a management consultant specializing in international development assistance. He is formerly the VP of International Operations at CARE Canada and he got his start in international development as a YCI participant in Costa Rica in 1991.

Shauna Houlton
Shauna is a consultant with DECODE, a strategy & innovation firm with an expertise in youth, young adults and young families. Shauna was also a participant in Costa Rica, Group Leader in Guyana and worked at YCI as the Youth Program Manager.

Michael Kocher
Michael Kocher is the Vice President of international programs for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a leading humanitarian organization providing relief, protection, rehabilitation and resettlement services for displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict. He has been featured on numerous major television and radio news programs and widely quoted in both the US and international press. He holds a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Duncan Munn
Duncan Munn is Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the C.D. Howe Institute, one of Canada’s foremost public policy research Institutes. Prior to joining the C.D. Howe Institute in 2000, Mr. Munn worked at the Council for Canadian Unity as an organizer, and was active in a number of political issues and campaigns at all three levels of government.

Sharon Vogel
Sharon is a lawyer and a partner with Borden Ladner Gervais in Toronto.
