YCI’s Youth Engagement program harnesses the energy of recently returned alumni and the enthusiasm of their peers. Focusing on the key sectors that YCI specializes in, YCI’s Youth Engagement program allows participants to connect their global experiences to initiatives in their local communities across Canada and the United States.
Whether you’re a returned volunteer or new to our programs, YCI offers a number of entry points to become engaged as a local volunteer. YCI offers four core programs for youth, students and returned volunteers to engage in global youth development programming locally:
Volunteer Action Network: Work with a team of like-minded volunteers to raise awareness and turn ideas into action.
Community Connectors Program: Network and develop professional experience by representing YCI in your community.
Alumni Mentorship Program: Upon your return from a YCI project, share your experience with preparing volunteers.
Volunteer Support Team: Contribute your skills by applying online or in YCI’s head office.
